At the end of November, Veep was honored to cooperate with Saigontourist, TTT Group, Arup, and Neuron in the project of digital transformation and energy optimization for historical and iconic buildings of Vietnam and the world.
Buildings not only play a role as places for people to live, work and entertain, but also an important part of cultural and economic heritage. However, this sector currently contributes up to 39% of total global greenhouse gas emissions, while 30% of energy consumed in buildings is still wasted due to inefficient operation.
In this project, we took on a challenging yet meaningful task: digitalize and optimize energy for two 5-star hotels with a history of nearly 100 years. These are not only symbols of architecture and history but also vivid evidence of the ability to redefine the sustainable value of heritage buildings.
The initial survey results have revealed many important opportunities to improve energy efficiency and optimize operations.
This not only promises to bring practical value but also lays the foundation for a new standard in the field of green building management and development.
We believe that, with the support of strategic partners and the application of advanced technology solutions, this project will become a model for the preservation and sustainable development of historical buildings in Vietnam and around the world.
